U-hop Shuttle Service - App base business opportunity in the Philippines

U-hop, a new app based shuttle service in the Philippines. App base transportation services are booming business in the Philippines, it started with Uber, then came Grab Car, and here a much more larger capacity vehicle which is U-hop.

U-hop's vehicle requirement is seven seater and up. Should be mini van to large vehicle. The concept is like UV-Xpress where there are certain routes only of the car. Unlike Grab Car / Uber, where it acts like a taxi using private vehicle.

U-hop has multiple passengers and they need to register to U-hop as a member. Same thing with the operator. U-hop validates the identity of the passengers as well as the driver for safety reasons.

As for members, this is a good choice if the concern is security and convenience, U-hop even have promos for unlimited rides in a daily basis. But as the word promo means, it will expired at certain time. You can visit U-hop's site to check what are the available services and promos you can avail as a member.

There will be a joining fee for operators to be in the loop with U-hop app service, you can drop an inquiry letter to U-hop to know more of the details. I won't be disclosing any rates/fees here since it might change prior to writing of this blog. I was able to send them inquiry since I'm also interested to join as operator, but comparing the joining fee to other app base vehicles is far costly in U-hop compared to others.

Updates:
VIP Membership as Operator:You have to pay P75,000 device fee (GPS, etc.) upon termination of contract it you are no longer with them. The 75,000 is refundable.

Their main office is in Ortigas:

1105 East Tower Philippine Stock Exchange (Tektite Towers),
Exchange Road Ortigas Center Pasig,
Metro Manila Philippines 1605

You can reach U-hop and contact them if you have any more questions.

Domain and Hosting in Bluehost

I've been using bluehost a few years now. Soon I will be migrating this blog to bluehost, but I'm giving it a second thought. Although I know that bluehost is very reliable when it comes to speed and up-time, I'm concerned about the URL that's already been published using this blogger domain. That would be a lot of rework when it comes to Search Engine Optimization. But I will be uploading another site soon using Bluehost domain and hosting services. The reason I can't stay away from bluehost is that, the customer service is superb. I mean come to think about the technicalities of the servers and all. Almost all domain hosting has very reliable services when it comes to server hosting, but I guess the difference is their customer service. Their agents are technically savvy when it comes to trouble shooting customer's issue. Storing fruits and vegetables

Credit to pngpix.com Storing fruits and vegetables is one of the biggest problem I had . As a busy mom, I usually buy fruits and vegetables once in a week. But after a few days, these veggies and fruits are already a waste of money. When the time that I want to cook them it's already rotten. How sad... and I end up cooking nothing but meat :( So I came to research what are the best way to store fruits and veggies that could last longer. One golden rule is never store fruits and vegetable together. The acidity of the fruit makes the veggies rot faster. Apple - Store them in the coolest part of the fridge. Celery, carrots, and cabbage - pack them in plastic, some use foil but you have to consume it as soon as possible. And with carrots some cut the leafy part of it, cause that's the part that rot fast.  I tried cutting the carrots in cubes and putting them in the freezer, that should work for a week. Eggplant - Usually I put them inside the fridge, but not now. You h...
