Easy breakfast recipe for kids

As a working mom, we tend to always be in a hurry all the time specially in the morning. The challenging part is cooking healthy food for the family. I would like to share with you this easy recipe, not just easy but healthy as well. Korean inspired with a twist. Korean love vegetable a lot so I incorporated some sprouted mung beans here.

2 scrambled eggs
1/2 cup sprouted mung beans
3 tbsp all purpose flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp sugar
4 left over fried fish
Water to dissolve the flour in runny consistency.
Oil for frying.
Pepper as desired
Onion chopped small bits

Just mixed all the ingredients and fry in small amount of oil in high heat to have the browning effect. Oh watch the fire not to burn the food. After a minute turn the fire medium low cover the pan to cook evenly. After 2 to 3 minutes flip it and do the same procedure to the other side. High heat to medium low heat and cover.

It can be a snack or partnered with rice (I preferred hot rice )

You will thank me later 😊

Storing fruits and vegetables

Credit to pngpix.com Storing fruits and vegetables is one of the biggest problem I had . As a busy mom, I usually buy fruits and vegetables once in a week. But after a few days, these veggies and fruits are already a waste of money. When the time that I want to cook them it's already rotten. How sad... and I end up cooking nothing but meat :( So I came to research what are the best way to store fruits and veggies that could last longer. One golden rule is never store fruits and vegetable together. The acidity of the fruit makes the veggies rot faster. Apple - Store them in the coolest part of the fridge. Celery, carrots, and cabbage - pack them in plastic, some use foil but you have to consume it as soon as possible. And with carrots some cut the leafy part of it, cause that's the part that rot fast.  I tried cutting the carrots in cubes and putting them in the freezer, that should work for a week. Eggplant - Usually I put them inside the fridge, but not now. You h...

Healthy food for picky toddlers

Carrot and Potato Mix  Talking about healthy food for toddler? Here's a super cool idea that would let you feed them with veggies without them knowing it. Here's the recipe: Small size carrot Medium size potatoe Half of onion 3 gloves of garlic 1 egg  2 tbsp. of all purpose flour (I'm using Magnolia ) Oil for frying (I preferred corn oil) Grind black pepper (I'm using McCormick ) Pinch of salt Process: 1. Use a shredder  for carrots and potato, I preferred the one with small holes since it will be more refined. Don't forget to peel before doing this. 2. Add salt, garlic, onion and pepper. For kids, use powdered pepper. I used grind pepper here since I'm feeding an adult :) Mr. Hubby. You can also shred the onion and garlic. 3. You will notice that water will appear as soon as you mixed the ingredients, don't drain them, the vitamins are there. Add the flour, then add the egg and mix all. 4. Let it settle for 5 to 10 minutes. 5....

Chocolate Decadence from Honeybee Patisserie & Cafe

Chocolate Decadence at it's finest taste. I just so love the taste, the chocolate is not so sweet, taste like mild dark chocolate in the making. Sinfully delicious as they say it! The inner filling, the yellowish stuff that you see in the cake is like a soft custards that melts in your mouth. Delicious :)   We we're able to taste the cake courtesy of our dear friend Glyneth bought from Honeybee Patisserie and Cafe. In search of different cakes for her baby's every month celebration. Next time we will be waiting for another cake, ha ha ha. Unfortunately I was not able to find their website (it's not displaying properly) but they have a Facebook page.   Where you can see the information and details of the store.   We bought it from Fort Bonifacio one of their branches:  Fort Bonifacio Unit 1 & 2 G/F, The Fort Residences, 30th St. Cor. 2nd Ave. Fort Bonifacio Taguig City (Mon - Sun 2am - 10am) Tel number: 478-7483 The cost is reasonable...
